Writer’s Bar Dublin is spacious and typically classic in décor – a most relaxing place to come for traditional afternoon tea (served from 2pm to 6pm*, €35.00 per person) or simply take in the atmosphere of the most historic hotel in Dublin.
Tinted mirrors, fine art, cautious lighting, luxuriously deep sofas, and a grand crescent-shaped marble bar adorn this most popular area of the hotel. The bar also has an elevated level, from which guests can survey O’Connell Street, the main thoroughfare or Dublin City Centre.
In winter, come in from the cold and warm yourself with our speciality teas, hot chocolate and marshmallows, freshly brewed coffee, or even a bowl of our homemade soup. In summer, cool down with a nice pint of Guinness, a cocktail, or a glass from our selection of fine wines and champagnes.
From 12pm to 8:30pm daily, Writer’s Bar serves a selection of sandwiches, Honey Glazed Ham and lots of other tasty snacks. Breakfast is also available from 7.30am to 10.30am.
Classic yet sophisticated, the bar is suited to business and leisure guest alike, with a buzzing atmosphere and friendly and efficient staff, simply put, is elegance with a twist!
*Afternoon Tea is not available on certain days in the calendar year, such as GAA Finals.
